Wow – what a year its has been! It’s been a strange year, but there have been a lot of positives here at Route 72 Cafe.
From our opening in July we have had to amend the way we operate to conform with government restrictions around COVD. But we’ve still had a great time and look forward to doing it all again in 2021.
, but watch this space for new opening hours in January. We will be closed over Christmas
Merry Christmas – stay safe.
It’s with a really heavy heart that we haveto cancel the our final Christmas market this weekend.
As we’re remaining in Tier 3, we’ve discussed the event with the council and there is no way we can ensure the safety of our staff, customers and stall holders against COVID-19. We’d be absolutely devastated if someone caught the virus at our venue and it’s not worth taking the risk so close to Christmas.
We’ll still be open for only take away drinks and food and it’d be ace to see you before we close for Christmas and take some well deserved time to take stock and come back with a bang next year.
Lastly, We’re sorry to all our dedicated stall holders who have been preparing for the market tirelessly. To say we’re gutted is an understatement.
Have a great Christmas & New Year.

With this in mind we hope to keep our menu fresh and have different options each week.
